Charlie's private detective office is located in the heart of Hollywood on the second floor overlooking Sunset Boulevard. We wanted the iconic office you find in all the great classics from the period. In the daytime, light would come flooding through the venetian blinds and at night neon signs from across the street could be visible through the big windows. This environment really belongs to Charlie's secretarty, Ida.  She is very resourceful and uses a great variety of devices and equipment to solve cases.

As the case develops Ida acquires more evidence and the office becomes more cluttered. The Art Department found great set peices for the desk, the back table and evidence board.
